Biographical Sketch:
Danielle Zerr, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, an Affiliate Investigator at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the Medical Director of Infection Prevention at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Zerr received her MD from Temple University in 1993. She completed both her residency and fellowship at the University of Washington and received a MPH from the University of Washington in 1997. Dr. Zerr’s research has focused on the epidemiology of human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) infections in healthy children and immunocompromised hosts and on various aspects of healthcare associated infections.
