Biographical Sketch: Danilo Concepcion has been a dialysis practitioner since 1975. He is currently the Operations Manager at St. Joseph Hospital Renal Services. He is experienced in the clinical, technological, research and administrative areas of dialysis. He has published numerous articles and has been a contributing author on several dialysis manuals. He has lectured to numerous organizations, including the NKF, AAMI, APIC, NANT, Dialysis Providers, NRAA and DHS. He has served on numerous dialysis related organizations such as the Medical Review Board for Network 18, Board of Directors of the National Association of Nephrology Technicians/Technologists, Board of Directors of the NKF’s Council of Nephrology Nurses and Technicians, Board of Directors Kidney Care Partners, American Kidney Fund’s Educational Committee, Nephrology News & Issues Editorial Advisory Board and AAMI’s Renal Disease and Detoxification Committee.
