Biographical Sketch: Dr. Stout graduated from SUNY-Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY in 1996. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in adult Infectious Diseases at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He has served on the faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health at Duke since 2002. His research interests include epidemiology and treatment of mycobacterial diseases. Dr. Stout also serves as the North Carolina Tuberculosis Medical Director and the Wake County, NC Tuberculosis Medical Consultant.
