Biographical Sketch: Kathy Allen-Bridson is a Nurse Epidemiologist employed as a contractor for the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network where she her responsibilities include development of infection criteria and surveillance modules and contributes user support for clinical issues. She has over 16 years of hospital experience both as clinical nurse and infection control nurse as well as 4 years public health work as an Infectious Disease Program Coordinator for the Michigan Department of Public Health. Kathy is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Nursing, Board Certified in Infection Control and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health from the University of London.
