Summary: Healthcare workers may become colonized or infected with transmissible pathogens such as MRSA, Salmonella sp., and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This session will assess risks of transmission of pathogens other than viral hepatitis and HIV, from colonized or infected healthcare workers to patients. Faculty will review approaches to management of the colonized or infected healthcare worker.
