Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Nimalie Stone is an infectious disease physician who has a research and clinical background in managing infections and antibiotic resistant pathogens in the elderly long-term care population. She recently joined the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as their Medical Epidemiologist for Long-term Care. In this role she coordinates and develops infection prevention and surveillance programs for the long-term care setting.
