Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Yokoe is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is on the faculty of the Infectious Diseases Department and the Hospital Epidemiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Her research has focused on evaluating methods for efficient detection of healthcare-associated infections. She co-chaired the SHEA/IDSA Allied HAI Task Force that authored "A Compendium of Strategies to Prevent Healthcare-Associated Infections in Acute Care Hospitals". She is also a CDC Prevention Epicenters investigator.
