Lead co-author of HICPAC/SHEA/APIC/IDSA Guideline for Hand Hygiene in Healthcare Settings. Co-author on a number of other publications dealing with hand hygiene. Temporary consultant to WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge, 2004 - 2011. Member of Joint Commission Expert Panel on Measurement of Hand Hygiene Compliance.
