Biographical Sketch: Dr. Palmore is an infectious diseases specialist and Deputy Hospital Epidemiologist at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. In her clinical role, she serves as an infectious diseases consultant in the Clinical Center, which has a large stem cell transplantation program and other categories of heavily immunosuppressed patients.
Dr. Palmore did her undergraduate education at Harvard College and attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell and infectious diseases fellowship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
