Biographical Sketch: Dr. Schweizer is an infectious disease epidemiologist. She received her PhD in molecular epidemiology in 2009 from the University of Maryland. She is currently an associate at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Her research focuses on outcomes associated with hospital-associated infections, specifically Staphylococcus aureus infections.
