Biographical Sketch:
David Pegues, MD, is a Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and serves at the Hospital Epidemiologist at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. He has been a member of HICPAC since 2005. His research interests include antimicrobial resistance and stewardship, device-associated infections, molecular epidemiology, and opportunistic infections, particularly in solid organ transplant recipients and persons with cystic fibrosis.
