Biographical Sketch: Sarah L. Krein, PhD, RN is a Research Health Science Specialist at the Ann Arbor VA HSR&D Center of Excellence a Research Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan and Co-Director of the VA’s Diabetes Quality Enhancement Research Coordinating Center. Dr. Krein’s research interests include organizational behavior and implementation research with a particular focus on enhancing patient safety by preventing healthcare-associated complications. Her research is currently funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Institutes of Health.
