Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Platt is Professor and Chair of the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. He has been principal investigator of a CDC Prevention Epicenter, a CDC Center of Excellence in Public Health Informatics, the FDA's Mini-Sentinel program, an AHRQ Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics, and an AHRQ DEcIDE center. He was formerly Hospital Epidemiologist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a SHEA academic councilor.
