Cortez Ballroom (Hilton Anatole)
CME Credits: 1.50
Type: Symposia
Summary: Healthcare provided to patients outside of traditional acute care hospitals is increasingly complex and these patients remain at increased risk for HAIs. This session will review gaps in knowledge and methods to prevent transmission of MDRO and HAI in non-acute care settings and the subsequent impact on acute care hospitals. Presenters will emphasize evidence based prevention methods and address current knowledge about the impact of changes in patient care settings on transmission and prevention.
